REAL WEDDING: { DAVY & JANE }

--
There are difficult weddings, and then there are those that simply unfold ever so seamlessly. Working with Bride Jane was pretty much a breeze. No frills, no complications. I think this happens only to brides who already know what they want and how they want things to happen. Somehow, planning just becomes second nature to them.

Come to think of it, why do we make weddings so difficult to plan? I am sure the color motif wasn't even a major concern back in the days as most Filipino weddings automatically lean towards the de rigueur cream & ecru. These days, not only is there the color motif to worry about, there's also the theme.

For Davy & Jane, the choice was easy: colors in soft & calming hues. As a special touch, all the men sported customized Vintage-inspired boutonnieres: totally non-traditional for a Chinese affair. And why not? A wedding, after all, is the couple's full expression of themselves. Every little detail speaks of who they are. ^_^ All the best, Davy & Jane!

REAL WEDDING: { NESTY & JENNY }

--
When we deliver flowers in the morning, we always love the atmosphere of excitement that comes with great expectations. As is the usual, the women of the family stay together in one room the evening before the wedding day: an all-girls night out if you must, which explains the collective reaction when the flowers come into the room in the morning. In whatever form - squeals, groans (of delight, I presume), or laughter - it's always a joy delivering flowers early because what better way to bring sunshine into a room than trolley in baskets and boxes of the most lush, happy looking flowers?

Apart from our usual interaction with the brides, our favorite part of the delivery is when we interact with the mothers - they who are the most hardest to please (admit it!). Mothers love to talk about their own weddings, or about the staggering preparations their bride-daughter has done for her own. I love Mothers. :-)

Special life gatherings like weddings are more than a celebration of two people coming together: it's a family event. Looking at Nesty & Jenny's photos & video, it definitely was that and even more! It reminded me so much of George Bernard Shaw who said,"A happy family is but an earlier heaven." All the best, Nesty & Jenny! ^_^

Much Love, Dylan
