REAL WEDDING: { JUN & AGNEZ } EL NIDO, PALAWAN

--
After having braved the terrible typhoon Mario this past weekend (we had five weddings to attend to at the height of the flood and rain!), we're sharing with you today a wedding that was practically an oasis of calm. We recall that Jun & Agnez's wedding was supposed to have been held in Bohol, but the earthquake that happened in October 2013 destroyed their preferred church in Dauis. The preps finally started rolling when a new venue was chosen.  Hands down, the El Nido Resort in the Philippines is one breathtaking place, where limestone cliffs connect the skies and sea.

Thanks to Cebu-based photographer, Mark Cantalejo, Jun & Agnez's wedding is bathed in beautiful blessed light! We really can't get over how warm and cozy everything looks! And please don't miss out Ghe Consolacion's SDE highlighting the day's beautiful moments. ^_^

Jun & Agnez, thank you SO MUCH for making us a part of your special day! ^_^

REAL WEDDING: { JONARD & CATHY } MANILA

--
Today, dearest readers, we're sharing with you Jonard & Cathy's wedding as they celebrate their first year anniversary this August. ^_^
--
It's not every day that one meets a beauty queen in person, and Bride Cathy was so nice to actually introduce herself to us when we met at the Manila Polo Club. I think we were both coming from our own meetings, we met by chance at the entrance and said hello. It was our first time to speak to a beauty queen. It felt ... special. ^_^

It came as no surprise that Cathy would choose her wedding colours in a scheme that would reflect her main interest: awareness & protection of the environment. She won, after all, the Miss Philippines-Earth title in 2006 and in the same year, won the Miss Earth-Water title. She is likewise the spokesperson of the DENR on certain environmental issues. The bride certainly knows her greens, and how!

Photographer, We Do It For Love, did a wonderful job capturing Jonard & Cathy's wonderful day. Their pictures allowed all the details to pop out, from the small details to the lush flowers: everything was very personal, very intimate, and very fresh. Other adorable details include the fact that every female entourage member wore a unique dress, and that no dress was the same as the others. The choice of nude, champagne, and ivory was just perfect: everything looked so chic and elegant! ^_^

Jonard & Cathy, thank you SO MUCH for trusting us to work with you on your special day. For you, a quote from American poet, writer and naturalist Henry David Thoreau,“Live in each season as it passes; breathe the air, drink the drink, taste the fruit, and resign yourself to the influence of each... Heaven is under our feet as well as over our heads.” May you both live long and prosper! ^_^
