REAL WEDDING: { PATRICK & PATTY } TAGAYTAY

--
"We're all a little weird. And life is a little weird. And when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them into mutually satisfying weirdness - and call it love. True love." - Robert Fulghum, True Love

Our story with The Pats, as Patrick & Patty are fondly called, began with THIS shoot. We were asked by Wedding Essentials magazine to make boutonnieres and a non-floral bouquet for a couple's shoot. We didn't know who the models were, no idea who was shooting it, and we didn't stay long enough to witness anything. A few days after the shoot, we got a call (or was it an email, can't recall so much anymore) from Patty inquiring for her own wedding. Turns out she & Patrick were the models for that shoot at Heima. How awesome is that?!

We kind of noticed that since the world found out about their wedding, they may have received tons of proposals (wedding related, of course) judging on the growing number of shoots they were doing prior to their big day. That time, we've been really itching to do something different. The inspiration came in the form of a magazine cover and minutes after sharing it on our Facebook timeline, we had formed a team which produce THIS. Boy, were we glad that Patty said yes to this! It was so wonderful working with this team of creatives. ^_^

Bride Patty was the kind who knew what she wanted, but she'd leave it to you to interpret the idea. And the results, as seen in these lovely photographs by Jorem & Sheila Catilo, were just splendid! In fact, their wedding details were to become part of pegs and mood boards of many other brides soon after.

We're very happy to finally share the wedding of The Pats this month, a little over 2 years since Patrick's 'brown-out proposal' to Patty. And despite this wedding being almost 2 years old this 2014, we hope that you continue to be inspired, not just by the amount of work they've poured into making their wedding so beautiful, but by their love which Patty lovingly chronicles on her very popular blog. Enjoy! ^_^

REAL WEDDING: { KARYM & MABETH }

--
Not so sure why it took us so long to blog this and if we were simply waiting for the right time, but we honestly love this wedding to bits! We love it for the sweet & pretty details, and for the fellow suppliers that we got to work with. Kudos to photographer, Marky Cantalejo, for capturing everything so beautifully!

This was also the first time that our craft team, {etc} handmade goodness, created a shell bouquet. It came with a shell boutonniere for Groom Karym, and a customized wedding cord made of sea-inspired charms. We also made a decoupage copy of their monogram. Very pretty and perfect for a beach setting!

Karym & Mabeth were the only couple we met to discuss items related to {etc}, and we've never done it again due to the seeming hesitation & doubt that anything creative can come from a big person like me (was just imagining this part, ha ha!), but we're very happy that everything turned out so well and as planned.

Special thanks goes to The Wedding Agency for bringing us into the team. All the best! ^_^
