E-SESSION: ERIC + ERIKA

This is one e-session that waited for months before it finally came to fruition. This is because Bride Erika is based in Canada and was only able to come home two weeks before the wedding day. Imagine two weeks of stressful last-minutes preps plus an e-session squeezed in between! One has to give it to the couple for their tenacity and strength of spirit. But above that, it really was their love which helped move things forward. Indeed, while faith makes all things possible, it is really love that makes all things easy (or something like that, ha ha!).

This e-session also marks the first time that we are doing set styling for an engagement shoot. Erika brought tons of props, too, and we gathered whatever we could from our end to pull off this breakfast/afternoon tea-in-the-meadow theme. We had so much fun building the tent, and setting the table!

Happy, too, to be working again with the Yaparazzi, Bryan Yap. We've truly missed working with him, and we're glad to have been given this opportunity again.

REAL WEDDING: MIKE & RACHELLE

When Bride Rachelle wrote us back in November, we knew it was bound to be a beautiful wedding, "Yes, let's do this. Everything will be beautiful, without a doubt. You know what's best and you are the best in what you do. It really shows in your work. I am already a fan and I am really grateful that you said yes to do our flowers for our wedding. God is good talaga." Looking at these photos, we know that that belief has come to pass, and how! (Of course, with photographers like Puy & Chie Talde of Really Awesome Weddings, weddings have definitely become more romantic!)

During the launch of the Wedding Essentials magazine last week, the host, Issa Litton, remarked, "Thank God for the internet!" Indeed, the net has definitely made it easier for couples like Mike & Rachelle, who are based in Washington, DC, to get in touch with their suppliers in the Philippines. Upon coming home a few days prior to their wedding, all they needed to do was to meet up with all of us individually (something like a GTKY thing), because all details have been ironed months before. Ah, if only wedding planning can be this easy! Bride Rachelle should know: she was one of the most relaxed bride I've ever seen on her wedding day. Surrounded by friends, we had the time pa to chat after I've finished my delivery. She's nice like that. :-)

Mike & Rachelle, thank you for making us a part of your day, for being so gracious and kind, for your complete trust.
